En iPhone är nu med på NASA:s Artemis II-mission runt månen. Det är första gången en smartphone följer med på ett bemannat uppdrag i djuprymden. Telefonerna används inte för att styra något, utan som personliga prylar. Astronauterna kan ta bilder, spela in video och dokumentera resan.
Dessa iPhones har alltså ingen koppling till uppdragets teknik. Det är snarare ett tecken på att astronauterna får ta med sig något personligt och att valet då verkar ha blivit en iPhone.
